A very proud day indeed not only collecting my award for Civil Celebrant of the Year 2022/23 but also standing next to Jane of Cockley Woodland Weddings who also won the award for the best West Yorkshire Wedding venue - Wakefield.
By working together, we are able to offer couples a bespoke package and this award recognises our customer service and dedication to providing couples with the best experience and attention to detail. It’s all about you! Of course, it is! Your dream venue is available, your key list of suppliers also said yes, (well, most of them) the quirky photographer you randomly met at that last minute wedding fair you attended can make your big day and so it’s all falling into place. BUT all the celebrants you’ve tried are fully booked even the ones that didn’t really sing to you. HELP!
So, what now? As if arranging a wedding isn’t stressful enough along with your learning curve as a project manager bending you to breaking point. As resident celebrant at the beautifully quirky Cockley Wood Weddings we come as a package, what’s more Jane and her team will source hand-selected suppliers on your behalf. Bingo! Two hits in one and I’ll never be stuck in traffic getting there. What is it about the Woods? We’re already half way there as if you’re looking at an outdoor woodland wedding then you are already my kind of couple and hey get this – I’m already your kind of Celebrant! I subscribe to and support the Woodland Trust am a 100% recycling geek and volunteer on the recycling team each year at Glastonbury – 2023 will be my 10th year. I’m laid back but also super organised and like that learning curve you will find yourself on I’m also extremely flexible. Moreover, by using the services of a resident celebrant, any issues that may arise are already ironed out as we’re like a well-oiled machine dream team. By knowing where all the little knicks and crannies are (props not the staff!), who and where to direct you or your guests to, pre-ceremony hitches…. the list goes on……I’m Cockley’s second best Tour Guide! But I’d like my Auntie to deliver the ceremony? We all love a wonderful wedding – to be invited as a guest is always a real honour and it’s the chance to go hat shopping! Then once we are over the initial excitement, crikey, it’s going to cost a fortune and furthermore I’m on holiday that day. Then Auntie Ann has to start thinking about not only all the above but the most important part of the day – the ceremony! She’d love to be there as a guest to enjoy the day but now has to worry and split herself in two. Auntie Ann has the perfect solution… Why not leave it to the professional, trained to the highest standard of Celebrancy holding the NOCN Diploma, amazing reviews and is a multiple Award Winner and nominee. But what about choice? Indeed, Celebrancy is all about choice – your wedding ceremony your way to enjoy and remember over the decades together. So, if you go down to the woods today, it won’t be an unpleasant surprise. It will be WONDERFUL! So, let’s enjoy your wedmin journey on that quirky woodland path together; did you know it takes one whole minute to walk those last few steps from the arch to your waiting love? See you soon, Sarah xx |
